Legal conflicts often create a highly stressful and uncertain time in an individual’s life. Whether you are dealing with significant financial stakes in a civil dispute or facing the potential loss of your freedom due to criminal charges, securing the support of an experienced and dedicated legal advocate is essential.

For over 22 years, Brian Hultgrenn has provided that advocacy for individuals in crisis. His career began as a deputy prosecutor and victim’s rights attorney before transitioning to private practice, where he handles both civil and criminal litigation. With a philosophy grounded in meticulous preparation and vigorous representation, Brian has consistently achieved positive outcomes for clients in Washington's District and Superior Courts, as well as the Court of Appeals. Given the life-changing consequences of legal matters, making the right decision is crucial. With more than 100 trials, 50 appeals, and thousands of hearings and motions, Brian possesses the depth of experience necessary to understand the legal risks in your case and guide you toward the best possible outcome.

In addition to litigation, Brian practices in the areas of contract law, estate planning, probate, and business law. Equally important to resolving legal disputes is the ability to prevent them through careful planning. At Ellerd, Hultgrenn & Dahlhauser, our goal is not only to assist clients through legal crises but also to help avoid and mitigate potential risks. This approach involves crafting strategic legal solutions that protect your business, family, and property while allowing you to fully leverage the laws of Washington State and the United States.

A native of the Tri-Cities, Brian Hultgrenn left for eight years to earn his degrees from Whitworth University and the University of Idaho. He then returned to the Tri-Cities with his wife to establish his career and raise their family. Outside of work, Brian enjoys reading, video games, and sports, though his greatest joy is spending time with his wife and four boys. In 2023, he was thrilled to partner with Allyson Dahlhauser and Heidi Ellerd to co-found Ellerd, Hultgrenn & Dahlhauser.
